After graduating from high school I decided to stay in Vienna and pursue studying classical piano. It took a while to find my place in such a great big city of music but in 1996 I passed auditions at the University for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and began studying. This was a very important season for me; not only was I able to develop my skills in piano but my vision for pursuing a career as a singer/songwriter also became a lot clearer. It was also during this time that I met my drummer, Moritz and guitarist, Matthias at the university. They agreed to jump on board and by the spring of 2001 we had a real band complete with a set list and concert dates. Then in November I got to open for the Swedish pop duo Roxette. That was our third concert ever and undoubtedly a huge highlight for us all. I remember getting chills as 7000 people pulled out their cigarette lighters and waved them slowly as we played.
